Museum Studies Senior Seminar in Museology Research Paper
In Fall 2023, as part of her museum studies major requirements, Sarah completed a capstone research project focusing on an issue museums are facing. She chose to research and write about collections management policies and how they can help museums grow. See her paper and presentation below.

Baroque Art History Analysis Paper
In this paper, Sarah examines the painting Portia Wounding Her Thigh by Elisabetta Sirani, which is from the Italian Baroque art period. She also compares it to other works and examines the Baroque period in relation to the painting. To read the essay, click below.

During Sarah's study abroad semester in Spring 2023, she took a class on history, memory, and commemoration. For this class, she completed a research paper on Juneteenth and how the United States interacts with the memory that is at the root of the holiday. Click below to read.
